Beyond information and technology, the KLCFDC is well aware that there are other needs for community groups within the City of Kawartha Lakes. This is why we can consider applications for financial assistance in the means of small grants or contributions to activities felt to be important to the community and aligned with our overall goals and objectives.

If you or your organization have a valid program idea where a small capital infusion is critical to the activity’s success, we may be able to help. From the ongoing input received from residents and stakeholders throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes, we can assess and prioritize needs and determine which initiatives may receive a contribution from us. And while our funding in this area is limited, our role in community economic development may lead to further funding to assist the project.
